Air pistols
The air gun uses the trigger of a spring or piston to propel the lead. It is a single-shot weapon that must be reloaded between each shot. Before each shot, it is necessary to bend the barrel to compress the air in the chamber and thus release the projectile. With the air pellet gun, it is impossible to fire in multi-shots.

What does the law say about the air pellet gun ?
Like the CO2 pistol, the air gun is a category D weapon. It is therefore freely available to people over 18 years of age.
On the other hand, it is forbidden to carry and transport it without legitimate reason. If you are carrying it, the police will establish the legitimacy of the reason. You have to go to your shooting club: legitimate reason / You are walking around with your weapon in a public demonstration: illegitimate justification. If the reason is inadmissible, the police may fine you.
What brands are available ?

How powerful is the gun ?
On average, the air pistol has a power of between 2 and 10 joules. The most powerful model currently available in the gun shop is the Langley pro sniper with 13.7 joules.
Its strong points: it can be accessorised with a shoulder stock / it can be used for long distance shooting. Beware, a powerful pistol must be used with care.
