Sillent Pellet rifle
We offer several pellet rifles equipped with a quieter barrel than conventional models. These barrels are called Quiet Fire by Crosman / Suppressor S3or S4 by Stoeger / Fusion or Whisper by Gamo. The firing noise of these rifles is attenuated, but not totally silent: since the noise comes from the piston or spring, it's not really possible to make it soundproof.

Is it possible to add a silencer to a conventional rifle ?
No. Either the pellet rifle is fitted directly with a silencer barrel, or with a conventional barrel. It's extremely rare for rifles to be fitted with a thread at the end of the barrel, allowing a silencer to be added.
- Please note: A silencer is also effective because it absorbs the noise of an explosion (black powder, hunting powder...), but in pellet guns, there is no explosive: the noise comes from the piston or spring snapping as it expands. It's a noise that can't really be attenuated.
