Blank weapons
A blank gun is a pistol or revolver that fires non-lethal ammunition. Considered a defensive weapon, it is used in the home to scare off an aggressive individual. When fired, the blank bullet produces smoke and the same sound as a real firearm.
Today, blank guns are synonymous with alarm weapons. These are pistols and revolvers that fire blanks, flash blanks, CS gas and pepper spray.
Since July 2024, they are classified in category C-12, regulated sale.
