The flash ball is a defense weapon designed by the French arms manufacturer Verney Carron. Mainly used by law enforcement agencies and private security companies, it takes the form of an imposing pistol into which a rubber bullet is inserted. Contrary to the rubber bump rubber, the rifle and the C02 pistol, the ammunition does not take the form of a rubber ball but of a bullet with a large diameter (about 40 mm). When ejected, the bullet is propelled at about 80 m/s and can reach 12 metres. The flash ball gun is a weapon to be handled with vigilance.
