Flash ball
The flash ball is a defensive weapon designed by the French manufacturer Verney Carron. Mainly used by law enforcement agencies and private security companies, it takes the form of an imposing pistol into which a rubber bullet is inserted. Unlike the gumshoe, the rifle and the C02 pistol, the ammunition does not take the form of a rubber ball, but rather a bullet with a large diameter (about 40 millimetres). When ejected, the bullet is propelled at about 80 m/s and can reach 12 metres. The Flash Ball is a weapon to be handled with care. For this reason, it is classified as a category C weapon and requires various documents to be sent in order to be purchased.
Please note : This weapon cannot be sent outside France. The CO2 rifle with rubber bullets can be an alternative to the flash ball. It can be shipped abroad.
