This Ruger Mak I air pistol is made by Umarex, in 4,5mm pellet bore.
It's a break barrel air pistol, one shot action, working thanks to a spring piston, and that develops a great power of 7.5 Joules.
It is mainly made with synthetical materials, lighter and less expensive, but the barrel and the mechanical parts are made of metal.
The barrel is covered with polymer, and has inside threads that gives a rotative movement to the pellet, allowing a better trajectory.
Its handle is ergonomic and ambidextrous, and comes instinctively in the hand, with the 3 fingers places.
It has a fully adjustable rear sight and a fixed front sight, both with luminous optic fiber.
The safety is manual, and can be engaged or removed with a simple pressure on a button.
As the Ruger Mark I pistol is very powerful, it is delivered with a cocking sleeve, that comes on the barrel, for a better prehension, while cocking it. This sleeve can stay in place when shooting, it won't bother the pellet's trajectory.
